My name is Chris, and I’m running to represent you on the RTD Board. I hope I can earn your vote this November!

Top Priorities for Chris

Reliability & Dependibility

As board member, I will steer time and resources to updates on existing tracks and vehicles. RTD should not prioritize expansion projects, rather it should improve timeliness, coverage, and efficiency in areas currently covered.

Transparency & Communication

Families who ride RTD should feel safe and secure on any route, anywhere, at any time. By prioritizing safety and accessibility we can create a more inclusive, secure, and user-friendly environment that encourages more people to ride RTD.

Safety & Accessibility

Riders should be able to track where their buses/trains are in real time. A recently completed RTD project has made the ride-planning experience much easier, and I will advocate for similar collaborations in the future. Similarly, delay, service, or other scheduling updates should be shared in various outlets to quickly inform riders.

Learn About Chris Gutschenritter

With a passion for improving local communities, Chris recognizes the need for a pragmatic board at RTD to address pressing issues of efficiency and workflow. Proudly serving as a member of three different boards and commissions in Englewood, Chris remains well-connected with a diverse array of local voices.

Having previously resided in major metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Chicago, New York, and Atlanta, Chris has witnessed both the benefits and drawbacks of public transportation systems. Chris is not alone in observing the city's primed potential for growth in the coming years, which will inevitably lead to an increased demand for ridership. The longer RTD lags behind, the more challenging it will become to meet the needs of Denver's residents. Therefore, Chris plans to prioritize projects aimed at stabilizing the foundation of the agency.
